Food Tour Lake Thun

This winter, gourmets are invited to take a tour of the Bernese Oberland. Discover the magical Lake Thun region by train, boat and bus – enjoying a delicious three-course meal along the way, with each course served in a different location. The tour is available daily between 6 January and 2 March 2025.
From 6 January to 2 March 2025, our new food tour invites you to discover the magical region of Lake Thun with your taste buds as well as your eyes. A picturesque train ride from Interlaken takes you along the banks of Lake Thun as far as Spiez, where you will enjoy an aperitif in Europe’s most beautiful bay at the Restaurant Seegarten Marina. You then take a boat across deep blue Lake Thun to the St. Beatus caves. The main course in your three-course meal is served at the Restaurant Stein & Sein. Afterwards, a bus transports you back to Interlaken, where you can savour a wonderfully sweet dessert at the Grand Café-Restaurant Schuh – a fitting conclusion to a memorable tour of culinary discovery.

The food tour can be booked any day from 6 January to 2 March 2025
The tour lasts 6 to 7 hours, starting at 10.15 am in Interlaken
Book the food tour at least 72 hours in advance (spaces are limited)
Groups of 20 or more persons must reserve using the enquiry form
To take part, you will need a smartphone connected to the internet
Group reservation of more than 20 people
Planning a family excursion or corporate event with more than 20 people and wanting to book a gourmet tour? Please complete the enquiry form so that we can process and confirm your reservation. Group enquiries must be submitted to Interlaken Tourism not less than 15 days before the preferred tour date.
